Dedicated to making a difference!
In May of 2023, I suddenly lost my dad, Richard Montoya. He wasn’t just my father, he was my confidant, my friend, and the person I spoke to daily, sometimes multiple times a day. His passing left a deep hole in my heart that I couldn’t imagine filling.
In December 2023, my best friend, who I consider my unbiological sister, helped me take a step toward healing by opening a nonprofit in his honor. It’s always been a dream of mine to create a space where we can put "love into action," and this organization has become a way to do just that.
I have so much love for the state of New Mexico and the incredible people who live here. Our mission is simple: to meet the needs of our neighbors. When we identify a need, we pray about it, share it with the community, and then work together financially, physically, and most importantly, emotionally, to meet that need. We believe that through this collective effort, we can truly “Be the Blessing.”
Growing up, I was blessed to witness my parents constantly serving their families and community. They instilled in me the importance of kindness and service from an early age, and now, I strive to carry on their legacy. Through this nonprofit, I honor their memory by continuing to do the simple, meaningful acts of kindness they taught me. Most importantly, we do it all with the hope of bringing glory to God through every event, every action, and every life touched.
For the love of Family
